That’s 13.08%. From the analysis of economic prosperity index, among 11 countries including Europe, America, China, Russia, and Japan, only China and Russia are on the rise, and the rest are on the decline. A year-on-year decrease of 12%; US sales were approximately US$2.27 billion, a 16% decrease from 2001; the UK’s sales in 2002 fell 24% from 2001 to approximately US$1.064 billion; Italy’s sales were down 8% , About 763 million U.S. dollars.
In 2001, the top five countries in terms of annual output value of printing machinery and equipment were: Germany 7.73 billion U.S. dollars, Japan 3.918 billion U.S. dollars, the United States 2.702 billion U.S. dollars, Britain 1.4 billion U.S. dollars, and Italy 829 million U.S. dollars. In 2001, the top 5 countries for export of printing machinery and equipment were: Germany 6.325 billion U.S. dollars, Japan 1.578 billion U.S. dollars, the United States 1.246 billion U.S. dollars, Italy 1.06 billion U.S. dollars, and the United Kingdom 940 million U.S. dollars. The top 6 printing machinery and equipment imports in 2001 were: US$2.2 billion, China US$1.3 billion, Germany US$1.228 billion, Italy US$922 million, UK US$920 million, and Japan US$798 million. In 2002, China's printing machinery market was a splendid flower, and the sales of printing machinery and equipment increased by 13.8%, becoming a must-see for the world's printing and equipment manufacturers.
