Speed Affects Bronzing

Sep 12, 2021

The hot stamping speed actually reflects the contact time between the substrate and the hot stamping foil during hot stamping, and directly affects the hot stamping fastness. If the hot stamping speed is too fast, it will cause the hot stamping to fail or the imprint will be blurred; if the hot stamping speed is too slow, it will not only affect the quality of hot stamping, but also affect the production efficiency.

In the hot stamping process, the speed, pressure and temperature are mutually restricted, and the process parameters are always determined in the order of stamping speed, pressure and temperature. First determine the hot stamping speed. Under normal circumstances, treat it as a constant and not easily change it, and then find out the appropriate hot stamping pressure and hot stamping temperature, which can simplify the operating procedures and easily control the quality of the hot stamping.

In addition, during the hot stamping process, the substrate, hot stamping plate, hot stamping machine, fixtures and backing plates must also be considered. Finally, we must study the environmental conditions, including indoor temperature and humidity, substrate temperature, and the cleanliness of indoor air (dust content).

In short, the bronzing process is a complicated process technology, and only by grasping the above-mentioned problems in the bronzing process can a satisfactory bronzing effect be obtained.
